Hey Cinemateurs, we’re not going to have a normal post this week due to life getting in the way. But, we didn’t want to leave you without a post this week. We’ve quickly pulled a list of action movies on Netflix that we can recommend you check out before we leave blockbuster season. We’ll be back to normal next week with David’s review of Chasing Amy!

Bad Boys II – ★★★☆☆ – Probably Michael Bay’s most fun movie. Fair warning, this movie is long, but it really is everything a popcorn flick should be. Just sit back and enjoy the ride. Woosa!

Three Kings – ★★★★☆ – David O. Russell has become a househould name in the last few years with The Fighter, American Hustle, and Silver Lining’s Playbook, but before there was Christian Bale and Bradley Cooper there was George Clooney and Ice Cube. Oh, and Mark Wahlberg was always there (and he always will be).

Enemy at the Gates – ★★★★☆ – An awesome cat and mouse story centering around two snipers in WWII.

Shanghai Noon – ★★☆☆☆ – ‘You said wet shirt don’t break not piss shirt bend bars!’ I can only recommend this movie if you saw it when you were 10 and have the same nostalgia I do.
